COVID'19- LOCKDOWN

" In the month of March 2020, entire world went into lockdown due to a SARS like virus affecting the world population. The virus has been declared pandemic and christened as Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). "

On 24th March, 2020 The Prime Minister of India, declared lockdown effectively hating al the activities other than few vital services.

The pandemic has affected all, though the elderly have been the most affected population. While children and youth have not had any prafpund effect on their health due to Covid-19 however, the crisis had profound effect on their welhuéing. The mitigating effort of lockdown has created socio-economic impact which has had an effect on everyone however, the most impacted were families from low-economic background and lower-middle class families as majority of them lost their jobs and were forced to dependent on their śavings to feed their families.

These families are facing severe problems in terms of getting food/ration. The lockdown in the State of Telangana due to Coronavirus has adversely affected lakhs of daily wage earners, migrant tamilies, construction workers and other slum dwellers and so on, who have no means of income to feed their families for this long lockdown period

What we have done:

Dry Ration, Vegetables and Health Hygiene Kit
for each family which sustain them for 2 weeks.

Nutrition food and Biscuits
to the Migrant Labourers

Water and Cooked Food Suply

Dos and Dont's
during the lockdown period.
